  He expects mobile Internet will be woven into all sectors as the 4G network becomes more popular in the next few years.

  Bruce Sewell, Senior Vice President of Apple Inc., said at the conference that the development of Internet is based on trust and whole-hearted cooperation is needed between government and all companies related.

  He said Apple will continue to ensure transparency by showing users risks such as downloading from an unreliable website and contain data leak or theft by setting boundaries for information access.

  "The relationship between mobile phones and human beings are getting closer and closer. They are like part of us, even intimate partner to us. When we think of mobile, we see it as portable computer, and more powerful than that. I think the future development of mobile has just begun."

  The Chinese smartphone maker has expanded its product development from mobile phone, TV to smart router. Lei Jun said at the World Internet Conference that the goal is to enable the only networking device that works 24-hour at home with computing power.

  "Baidu might enter a two-year transition period, during which we will spare no effort working on the mobile end… Our search traffic on mobile exceeded that on PC by the end of third quarter, and I believe it won't be long before the same change happens to revenue and profit."

  He added that mobile outweighing PC could be a permanent change, and revenue and profits will follow accordingly when customers are satisfied.

  Paul Jacobs, chairman of Qualcomm Inc, said the largest chip manufacturer is working toward a win-win solution to solve the "current difficulties", indicating that the ongoing anti-trust probe is not likely to affect Qualcomm's operation in one of its largest market.

  Jacobs said Qualcomm will continue to cooperate with Chinese government and contribute to China's mobile Internet industry.

  "The world in the future is very worth waiting, such as nanotechnology and so on. Therefore, our generation could be immortal for real, as all diseases will be cured in the next 30 years."

  The physics major, targeting news, information, video and entertainment as the four areas for the development of mobile Internet, expects future life to be surrounded by mobile phones and all sorts of wearable devices.

  Vaughan Smith, vice president of Facebook, said at the conference that the company is excited about business in China, which may include helping Chinese companies and promoting tourism products.

  He added that Facebook will focus primarily on expanding its platform.
